After the first day John Guerin led the way with a nett 70 closely followed by Karl Mc Mahon & Ulick O'Sullivan on 71. In the Morning of the second day Karl returned a 72 while John slumped to a 79 Greg Lanigan was making a run for the winning post with level par through 15 holes but then dropped 5 shots on the last three holes to drop him out of contention
meanwhile Ulick O'Sullivan was playing great stuff and came in with a brilliant 62 nett to win easily.

Despite the awful weather conditions our exchange day with Skellig Bay was a big sucess. The ground conditions were very wet but the greens were in great shape and the score of the day came from Pat O Sullivan who had a great round. The Club Weekend away on the 11th/12th April was a great sucess and a very enjoyable time was had by all. We played Cahir on the Friday afternoon and despite the very heavy hail showers a few good scores were returned.
On Saturday we played a very lovely course at Ballykisteen but the frivoloties of the night before took their toll and i'm afraid the scores suffered a little. The Ladies seemed to take their drink better than the men as the following scores will show.
